Sherlock Holmes removed from school for being anti-Mormon ›
This is a topic that Nicole and I find really interesting, i.e. how do we respond to racist, sexist, religionist (did I just make that word up? maybe) moments in classics. Obviously they are a sign of the times in which the book was written, but do or should they make a difference in how we feel about the book?
Watch for an upcoming show on this topic.

We know the classics will have outdated attitudes toward certain people. We can handle it. Banning is not the answer.
