Was Jane Austen Murdered? →
This is a fascinating supposition and could very well be the real cause of Austen’s death - the arsenic anyway. I’m interested to read Ashford’s book and see who, exactly, she thinks killed her. I’m not terribly convinced at the moment it was murder instead of, say, accidental arsenic poisoning.

iheartclassics: So this is pretty sweet. Choose up to six names from classic books and replace with you and your friends. Awesome possum! Available with Dracula, Alice, and Romeo and Juliet. Which classic would you put yourself into? I guess I choose Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, because that is the only one that isn’t sold out.

Sherlock Holmes removed from school for being... →
This is a topic that Nicole and I find really interesting, i.e. how do we respond to racist, sexist, religionist (did I just make that word up? maybe) moments in classics. Obviously they are a sign of the times in which the book was  written, but do or should they make a difference in how we feel about the book? Watch for an upcoming show on this topic.
